Kim Kardashian’s Diet After Baby – Weight Loss Plan Revealed

“This was the biggest challenge of my life, and I still have some to go, but I feel so accomplished that I did this,” Kim reveals.

Kim eats about 2,000 calories a day, healthy fats and proteins that are found on the Atkins diet. Here’s a typical day for Kim:

Breakfast: Two egg omelet with cheese and spinach. “Starting my day with a good breakfast sets the tone of the day.”

Lunch: Grilled salmon with asparagus and a side salad. “I’ve loved eating fish after my pregnancy.”

Afternoon snacks: Turkey meat with cheese and greek yogurt with berries and almonds. “Snacks keep me going when I get hungry breast-feeding.”

Dinner: Chicken breast with broccoli and a leafy green salad.

Although this menu sounds delicious, there are absolute no-no’s for Kim on her diet plan: carbs like bread and pasta, and alcohol. “My entire pregnancy I only ate cards. I craved plain bread, which was odd for me. So to cut it out completely was a challenge, but I was mentally ready for it!”

Kim’s Exercise Routine

Kim thought about loosing weight immediately after giving birth because of the pressure put on her while she was pregnant.

“In the hospital it was sort of sad. She had just given birth to her sweet daughter, and she already felt a lot of pressure to lose the weight,” a friend told the magazine.

Kim is now feeling more motivated than ever, as she is enrolled in Barry’s Bootcamp and Pilates Plus.

Barry’s Bootcamp burns 1,000 calories in 60 minutes and combines strength training and cardio. Pilates Plus focuses on the butt and thighs. “We work inner thighs with dumbbells to work your legs and arms, then squats. Kim works hard,” said an instructor who has worked with Kim.

Turun 19 Kg, Ini Diet Yang Dilakukan Kim Kardashian Pasca Melahirkan

Jakarta – Kim Kardashian sempat beberapa kali mengeluh tentang bobot tubuh yang melonjak pasca melahirkan anak keduanya, Saint West. Tentu istri Kanye West itu tak tinggal diam dan segera menerapkan diet agar kembali langsing. Diketahui jika Kim melakukan pengaturan pola makan ala Atkins. Kabarnya diet tersebut membuatnya turun hingga empat kilogram sebulan. Meski masih ingin menurunkan tujuh kg lagi, kini Kim sudah berhasil menyusutkan 19 kg. Berikut beberapa aturan makan yang dilakukannya:

1. Diet AtkinsProgram pengaturan pola makan ini diperkenalkan oleh Dr. Robert C. Atkins. Diet tersebut mengutamakan pengaturan asupan karbohidrat untuk membakar lemak tubuh dengan cara yang simpel. Yang perlu Anda lakukan adalah mengikuti menu makan yang sudah ditetapkan. Kim ternyata sudah familiar dengan diet Atkins sejak kuliah pasca diperkenalkan oleh ayahnya. Sudah terbukti melangsingkan, ia pun menggunakannya lagi untuk menurunkan berat badan pasca melahirkan.

2. Banyak ProteinMenurut sebuah riset, orang yang diet namun mengonsumsi protein mengalami penurunan berat badan yang lebih berarti dari pada yang tidak. Nutritionis Colette Heimowitz pun mengatakan jika Kim makan protein setiap harinya, entah itu telur, ayam, atau daging. Hal tersebut perlu dilakukan agar tetap kenyang dan puas meski tengah diet.

3. Konsumsi KejuKim juga tidak menjauhi keju. Meski begitu, konsumsi makanan olahan susu tersebut harus dibatasi agar tidak mengganggu program diet. Setiap harinya ibu dua anak tersebut hanya boleh menyantap dua ons saja. Bukan hanya keju, penggunaan sour cream dan butter juga diminimalisir.

“Makanan-makanan tersebut tidak sepuasnya tapi dia boleh makan hanya untuk memuaskan. Karena pakai butter untuk brokoli memang lebih enak dari pada brokoli rebus,” kata Collete kepada Cosmopolitan.

4. Makanan Kalori TinggiBintang realiti Keeping Up with The Kardashians tersebut mungkin mengonsumsi makanan yang rendah karbohidrat namun tidak rendah kalori. Menurut Collete, makanan rendah kalori membuat orang jadi lapar seharian sehingga mengganggu program diet. Selain itu, menghindari asupan berkalori juga tidak baik untuk ibu menyusui karena ditakutkan bayi akan kekurangan nutrisi.

Collete mengatakan jika ibu menyusui paling tidak harus mengonsumsi 1.800 kalori per hari. Untuk itu, Kim menyantap enam ons protein, empat ons keju, delapan sampai 10 porsi sayuran, dan dua sendok lemak. Meski punya menu diet yang ketat, wanita 35 tahun tersebut suka bepergian sehingga masih sering makan di luar.

5. Pantangan MakanTentu saja diet Atkins punya beberapa pantangan. Beberapa di antaranya adalah gula, permen, kue, biskuit, terigu putih, hingga beras putih. Mereka yang menjalankan diet tersebut juga tetap boleh menyantap makanan berkarbohidrat asal dengan cermat.

“Rahasianya adaah memilih makanan karbohidrat tinggi serat yang mengeluarkan gula ke aliran darah secara lambat. Dari pada nasi putih lebih baik nasi merah. Dari pada kentang lebih baik ubi. Dan jika mau makanan penutup kamu bisa membuatnya dengan Splenda dari pada gula,” satan Collete. (ami/ami)
